Think Ahead was featured in the 'Veterinary Times' this week.
Speaking about the campaign, British Equine Veterinary Association president Mark Bowen told the Veterinaray Times "We welcome anything that improves safety for horse vets and, in certain situations, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), such as a hat, is a very sensible precaution".

Between October 2013 and 2014, Thames Valley Air Ambulance was called to 48 serious and life-threatening incidents involving horse riders within the counties of Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire. This is the story of 24 year old Bryony Jones who was working at a stable yard in Holmer Green, Buckinghamshire one sunny Sunday morning in 2013 when the horse she was leading unexpectedly kicked her in the head. These CT scans are of the skull of a girl. She was turning out a horse and in excitement, he bucked and accidentally kicked her in the head.
